lack of confrontation.

something that really pisses me off is pussies. people who want to say or believe something but not have it challenged. disucssion is healthy and so is being challenged on things. if things go unchallenged they spiral out of control. its the natural order of everything. like its right in front of our eyes. when deer populations go unchallenged they spread and overpopulate which causes problems. the same goes for every other animal. celestial bodies went unchallenged by gravity then there would be chaos. if ideals go unchallenged then they can manifest and spread and become very harmful (nazism, religion, political parties, ect.). so when somebody says something i disagree with and then they say "look i dont wanna argue" it pisses me off. its going against nature. its an abomination to cower from challenge. there is much enlightenment to be gained from discussion. i heard somebody saying to their friend one time "i want to have lots of kids so that my genetic line gets spread and then im going to tell them to have lots of kids and hopefully so on and so forth and then in the future when we're more evolved it will mostly be from me and they will do what i would want them to do if i were alive in their time." i shit mental bricks. i went up and said "evolution happens within a species. small pieces of genetic code change to better adapt to the environment. they wont be more like you. having alot of children will cause problems too. millions of people come into the world each year. we're becoming overpopulated and damaging the planet to survive like a parasite or a virus and you would be adding to the problem" and he said " who the fuck are you? its my life and i'll do what i want!" he was about 22 or so. i said "yeah of course you will do what you want but hopefully i can sway your wants for the better of humanity. im just trying to point out the flaws in yo-" and he stopped me there and said "shut up youre just a kid still and i know what im doing. im not gonna argue with you. bye fag" and he left. my rage meter was about to pop. there are idiots like that guy everywhere and its because of them that we will all probably die. they will become parents and infect their children with their ignorance.

i think part of the cause of this is the discouragment of skepticism. and the encouragement of submission. religion does both of these things. so do many authority figures to children. teachers, parents, peers, and others. we need to start encouraging people to challenge things and to want to be challenged.
